Why go through the trouble of defining rework functionality as MTSL Scripts?

• Flexibility

  • Like all MTSL scripts, it can be used to connect, send commands, read data, make api calls, display info, etc.

• Speed

  • Requires no source code changes to support additional rework capabilities.
  • No need to build a one-off software application

• Communication

  • Provide the script or generate a chart from the MTSL to make sure everyone is on the same page about what the rework procedure is doing.
